Tappa Dance
This dance is popular among the Magar community in the Rapti zone in Nepal, especially in the Dang district. The daces starts in a slow key and
the tempo gets faster and faster towards the end. It is based in the rhythm or
beating of the hand drum, popularly known as Tappa, and hence the name of the
dace is Tappa.
